South Australia Executes Changes to its Anti Gambling Campaign
The government of South Australia has agreed to apply changes to its Anti Gambling advertising campaign after the local gaming industry was enraged by the message it is conveying. Ron Curry, the Interactive Games and Entertainment Association member sent an open letter to the govt. and requested written knowledge that connects gaming with gambling and asked for the removal of offensive content.
The message used a slogan that stated “Gambling Starts with Games” and it had an image of a child playing at a poker table with an iPad. This slogan has been adjusted to Gambling is no Game”.
